Aug 2010
I wanted to update everyone with some fair highlights.
It was a great weekend with safe 2.5 hr travels each way despite a crazy torrential thunderstorm on the way home of 25 mph w/flashers on.
I would absolutely love to do some more fairs next summer and am on the look out for tents etc.
I am thankful to Christy’s friends who jimmied open my car door after not much sleep or food with lots of heat I simply accidentally locked my keys in the car, which is not a courtesy of local police departments. Angels shined and helped in just a few minutes.
I made some new friends and all in all had a great time sharing beauty in Michigan.
Best of all I got to meet my friend Robin Lemon of six+ years for the first time in person
Did I make sales? yes, Did I learn? yes. Do I have more to learn? yes
next up and I’ll share more when I can, is a potential gallery show in Cleveland this coming winter.
Thank you to everyone who came and all who believed and helped make this a wonderful weekend.
Robin and I (I’m on the right)
All the best,
Rebecca

It was and is an amazing opportunity, and I am so thankful to be in the right place at the right time.
I just received it last week.
I just love the matching colors for the background and text. My name is in the index copyrighted.I also received two cover flats and will be sending one to the owner of the painting.

Busy, Busy, Busy Bee settle down and have some tea.
I have been burning the candle at both ends lately, painting, helping our kids with school and all my motherly chores…. whew~
Here are some pictures of the more than one hundred promos I made and sent to etsy labs to be included in the swag bags they are giving out at the Centerville Pumpkin Festival, in Manakin Sabot, VA coming up Oct. 20th.
I had a lot of fun making these and probably am getting a bigger kick out of it then anyone else.
I decided to take my slogan Drunk on Nature and apply it to shot glasses. ( pretty clever huh? lol)
So I got these great flourescent plastic glasses at a local party store, created the labels, printed them at Office Max and after trimming them a bit, stuck em on and mailed them off.
What’s coming up next? I have around 20 hand painted Black-eyed Susan pendants and pins almost finished that I will be posting in a few days and I am going to be working with a new gallery that found me online. They are in Indiana, I just received the consignment agreement and as soon as [ ... ]

I am going to begin offering quality prints of some of my paintings through my etsy store and website.
The first one I have to present is Carnival Days.
This is an archival giclee print on matte canvas from my original painting.
The UV inks are said to last 100 -200 years which is a long time to enjoy this festive painting.
The original was painted on site from a local homedays festival. It was my goal to capture the universal fun, joy and memories so many have of local festivals as well as the brilliance of the sparkling wares for sale.
The image measures 8″ x 10″ with a generous white handling area on each side of about an inch and a half.I have signed the print on the back.
I accept paypal,(paypal accepts most major credit cards) money orders, personal checks and google checkout.
Make it Beautiful!

If you live in the Northeast I’m sure you’ll understand “Where is Spring?”We’ve had record breaking snowfalls and record breaking heat. Well on one day We’ve had inches of snow so far for April and had an 80 degree day in the past month. Our Cleveland Indians had to temporarily move to a Milwaukee Stadium. But I digress… if you’re around here you get it.
So I’m happy to announce on Saturday come rain, snow, sunshine I hope to be a part of the Spring Fling in Euclid, Oh. Displaying some artful originals and goodies with Gallery 222 and Art on Wheels. I unfortunately won’t meet Therese who I’ve talked too a few times now, she’s in wonderful Italy We’ll meet another time.
I’m bringing my easel and paints to stretch my wings painting on site and hopefully will meet the Local Weather Legend Dick Goddard who’s whimsical forecasts are always entertaining and gentle mannered.
If the weather agrees come and visit the Spring Fling.Saturday April 21st from 11:00 – 3:00 at Sims Park.
All the best,Rebecca
