Hi everyone,
Here is my latest painting I have to share with you, Iris Sky.
Original Oil painting on canvas
30in. x 20in.
detail picture
I am very happy with this painting and it’s sister painting that will be finished soon.
It was painted mostly from a myriad of photographs that I took from our neighbors garden. The clouds were painted on site from a beautiful, windy day.
It has been lovingly gifted and happily received.
With Love,
Rebecca

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods;
There is rapture on the lonely shore;
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in it’s roar:
I love not man the less,
But Nature more…

I leave you with this quote.
“To see the world in a grain of sand
And heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of you hand
And eternity in an hour.”

Sun Daze
The glow of the summer’s sun is irresistible.
In this moment the sunlight glistened off the full green leaves with little gems of light, shimmering, dancing and giggling.

Morning Song
5 x 7 in oil on magnesiacore panel
Painted plein air in the early morning.
It was beautiful to have the sun coming up behind me, dancing upon the leaves and blossoms.
detail pics.
For the past 6 months or so I’ve working with the idea of having “eyes to see” the beauty around you.
I just found this poem that I have to share with you.
Nature is painting for us,
day after day,
pictures of infinite beauty
if only we have the eyes to see them.
— John Ruskin
Wishing you a wonderful day.

Here are a couple pictures of some new commissioned violet pins and pendants I just finished. I completed 2 pendants and three pins all together.Note the raindrop was a snowflake that found it’s way onto the pendant while I was taking some photos.
I’m looking forward to a series of snowy winter paintings.

My first painting of this fall’s colors, I fell in love over and over painting the exploding reds, oranges, yellows and light greens. Truly An Autumn Color Explosion!Bright, Juicy and rich it has been a gorgeous Fall. I already feel the twinges of not painting more of it.~Rebecca

Here is Sunshine Roses,5″ x 7″ plein air oil painting on magnesiacore panel
It has been sold.
I have a bunch more rose pendants I’ll be posting tomorrow and over the next couple days.
I have been aching to paint some more of my beloved Black-eyed Susan’s too.
Summer flowers are like mini sunsets in the green earth rather than blue of the sky.
Although I don’t have any here in my garden to paint they are abundant in my neighbors.
Wishing you all the best,Rebecca
